Grading:
Major Assignments 60% Minor Assignments 40%
Grading Scale: A (100- 90) B (89- 80) C (79- 70) D (69- 60) F (Below 59)
Classwork & Homework: Students will be given the necessary time needed to complete class work. It will be collected and checked for accuracy. At times students will have to finish some of their class work for homework.
Test & Projects: Students will be given test and projects on the subject matter taught in class.
School Re-Test Policy- Students will have the opportunity to receive 1/2 credit back provided that corrections and retakes are done correctly and thoroughly per teachers discretion.
Missing Work: At the end of every unit students will be given a progress report to complete all missing assignments for partial credit. There is a "No Name" board for students to check missing work.

Anything past 5 days may not receive above a 50.
Absences: It is a student’s responsibility to make up any work they miss. I will put most (but not every) assignments on my website as well as being located in a folder at the front of the classroom, sorted by weekday.
Table of Content: At the start of the new unit the students will be give a new Table of Contents to keep track of the assignments given. The assignments will be numbered and dated to help students stay organized.
Classroom Expectations and Procedures
1. Respect: RESPECT EVERYONE and EVERY ONES PROPERTY! Respect all materials in the classroom, whether they belong to you or not. You should never touch or take anything that does not belong to you. If you need to borrow supplies from Peers or the Teacher, you must ask first. There is no name calling, bullying, teasing, pushing, laughing at, etc. in the school.
2. Daily Procedure: You must stay in your seat, unless you have permission from the teacher. This means you must ask to use the restroom, sharpen your pencil, etc. If you need to throw something away, you need to wait until the end of class.
3. Dismissal: The clock does not dismiss you. The teacher does. All materials need to be put back in place and the floor/desk needs to be clean.
4. In the Classroom: No book bags, No Gum and all cell phones need to be turned off and put away, No electronic devices of any sort (unless used for class activity, I will let you in advance when we will be using electronic devices in class). No cameras, No make-up, No lotion, No body spray/cologne/perfume please.
5. Hall Pass: You will receive restroom/water/locker passes for the semester. To use these passes, you need to ask the teacher and then sign out. Use these wisely.
